2018 Private Reserve Tempranillo
Tasting notes
Our Private Reserve Tempranillo is a full-bodied red wine with soft aromas of vanilla, herbs and smoke from oak aging. Bold dark cherry and plum flavors along with vivid acidity provide a fleshy mouthfeel and long, smooth finish.
These grapes are grown at 3700 ft elevation in the Texas High Plains and fermented on skin for 20 days then aged in French and American hybrid oak barrels for twelve months. This gives this wine the rustic and robust character that matches the Texas spirit.
