Private Reserve Tempranillo
Tasting notes
Our Private Reserve Tempranillo is a full-bodied red wine with soft aromas of vanilla, dried leaves and sandalwood from oak aging. Bold dark cherry and plum flavors along with vivid acidity provide a fleshy mouthfeel and a long, smooth finish.
Production notes
These grapes are grown at 3,700 ft elevation in the Texas High Plains and fermented on skin for 20 days then aged in French and American hybrid oak barrels for twelve months. This gives the wine a robust, rustic character that matches the Texas spirit. Serve at 65°F.
