Paulo Cabernet Franc
Tasting notes
This medium-bodied wine has deep, rich color with flavors of strawberries, black currants and a slight hint of sweet tobacco. Paulo Cabernet Franc is aged in our best oak barrels for 18 months giving this wine a wonderful balance of acidity and tannin structure.
Production notes
The Bonarrigo family has been making fine wines since 1800. It’s an old family tradition that the first born son of each generation is named Paul, or Paulo, and will learn the winemaking practices of his father that have been passed down from generation to generation. Today, Messina Hof founder, Paul V. Bonarrigo with his son, Paul M. Bonarrigo, honor this family tradition by handcrafting this personal selection of grapes into rich, premium, distinctive wines—only the best can be called Paulo. Thus, this collection salutes all the fathers and sons before and from whom they’ve learned so much. Serve at 65°F.
