Messina Hof Primitivo is a full-bodied red wine with jammy dark fruit flavors that pirouette on the palate. Barrel aging in oak bring out rustic cedar aromas with hints of espresso. A perfectly balanced wine that complements steak or Italian dishes with thick red sauces.

Every year Messina Hof hosts the Texas Wine Label Competition at the Estate's annual Wine & Roses Festival (Bryan, TX). Each year Texas artists are invited to participate for a chance to have their artwork be part of our Artist Series collection. The artwork featured on this label is called "Barrique Ballerina" by Anna Dominguez, the 2015 Texas Wine Label Competition Winner.
