Hill Country Papa Paulo Port
Our Hill Country exclusive Papa Paulo Port is a rich traditional-style port with youthful flavors of chocolate covered cherries and vanilla. The brandy fortification introduces a unique and subtle bite of cinnamon and anise. The Lenoir grapes in this exclusive Papa Paulo Port are grown in the Messina Hof Hill Country estate vineyard. During our annual Harvest Festival, guests have opportunity to pick these grapes and view the very beginning of the winemaking process as the grapes are processed in a traditional basket press. Unique from our other Ports, this is our only traditional-style Port that is fortified with brandy (distilled grape juice). The label showcases the passing down of winemaking traditions and passion from generation to generation.
