The steam engine is a beloved symbol of Grapevine’s history. Grapevine received its first train in 1888 and for years after, citizens would dress up on Sundays to go “meet the train.” Today, people can still ride these Victorian locomotives from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards.
