Paulo Sagrantino is an exquisite, dark red wine with jammy fruit flavors. Oak aging adds hints of cinnamon with earthy tones. Unique and exclusive, it is the first Sagrantino to be grown in Texas.

The first born son of each generation is named Paul, or Paulo, and will learn the winemaking practices of his father that have been passed down from generation to generation. Today, the patriarchs of Messina Hof honor this family tradition by handcrafting this personal selection of grapes into rich, premium wines--only the best can be called Paulo. Thus, this collection salutes all the fathers and sons before and from whom they've learned so much.
