Sangiovese, Artist Series
Available Vintages: 2018 2022
Messina Hof’s Sangiovese is a medium-bodied, fruit-forward wine with smooth notes of tart cherries and plum. Vibrant acidity is complemented by earthy undertones and a hint of spice to create a flavor profile that pairs well with rich meat dishes and tomato-based pastas.
Every year Messina Hof hosts the Texas Wine Label Competition at the Estate's annual Wine & Roses Festival (Bryan, TX). Each year Texas artists are invited to participate for a chance to have their artwork be part of our Artist Series collection. The artwork featured on this label is called 'Fixin' it Fresh" by Barbara German, the 2014 Texas Wine Label Competition winner.
