Mourvèdre, Artist Series
Tasting notes
This Mourvèdre is a bold dry red wine with rustic elegance. A smokiness can be picked up on the nose with earthy tones. Black fruit flavors alongside hints of olive marinate the palate providing a natural roundness. Mourvèdre pairs well with wild game or smoked red meats seasoned with spice or fresh ground black pepper.
Production notes
Our exclusive Artist Series Mourvèdre incorporates artwork from Texas artist, Edwin Hoag titled, "Tall Pines General Store". While the pastoral scenery of the log cabin speaks to the rustic composition of Mourvèdre, this wine is softened and rounded out with a hint of Merlot.
