Mourvèdre, Artist Series
Available Vintages: 2016 2022
This Mourvèdre is a bold dry red wine with rustic elegance. A smokiness can be picked up on the nose with earthy tones. Black fruit flavors alongside hints of olive marinate the palate providing a natural roundness. Mourvèdre pairs well with wild game or smoked red meats seasoned with spice or fresh ground black pepper.
Every year Messina Hof hosts the Texas Wine Label Competition at the Estate's annual Wine & Roses Festival (Bryan, TX). Each year Texas artists are invited to participate for a chance to have their artwork be part of our Artist Series collection. The artwork featured on this label is called "Tall Pines General Store" by Edward Hoag.
